Optimize brands
Brand pages get the same SEO treatment as categories. If your store has brand pages (a hub page per manufacturer or label), CataSEO can write optimized descriptions for them.
When to optimize brands
- Your brand pages have empty or generic descriptions.
- You want brand pages to rank for “[brand name] [product type]” searches.
- You sell across many brands and writing each description by hand is impractical.
Run a brand optimization
From your CataSEO dashboard, open the Brands view. Click Optimize All or pick specific brands.
Like categories, brand optimization runs inline and requires an active batch subscription.
Review and approve
Generated descriptions go to the brands review queue. Approve individually or use Accept All to publish all at once. Undo Accept All reverses the most recent bulk approval.
Brand SEO score
Each brand has an SEO score based on description quality, length, and alignment with the brand’s products. Optimization improves the score; further improvements come from editing the description by hand to add brand-specific details.
Tokens
Brand optimization shares the same token type as category optimization, separate from product tokens.
FAQ
My store doesn’t use brand pages — should I still optimize them? If you don’t surface brand pages to shoppers, skip this. Optimization only helps pages your customers and search engines actually see.
Are brand and category tokens shared? Yes. The same token type covers both. Express and batch product tokens are separate.
Do I need a subscription to optimize brands? Yes. An active batch subscription is required.
