Optimize products from a CSV

If you don’t have a connected store yet, or you want to optimize a list of products without involving your storefront, CataSEO can take a CSV in and give you a CSV out.

When to use CSV upload

• You’re evaluating CataSEO without connecting your live store.
• You’re preparing a migration to a new platform.
• You want to optimize a one-off list of products that aren’t in your storefront yet.

Required and recommended columns

CataSEO needs at minimum:

• name (or product_name, title, or product) — the product name
• description — the existing product description (can be empty)

Recommended:

• sku — your product SKU
• brand — the product’s brand

Any other columns in your CSV are preserved and returned untouched in the output.

File size and row limits

• Max file size: 10 MB
• Max products per upload: 50,000

If you need to optimize more, split your file or contact support for bulk uploads.

Upload, optimize, download

1. Go to the CSV upload page.
2. Drag in your file or click to upload.
3. Configure the SEO profile settings for this batch.
4. Confirm token usage and start the job.
5. When the job finishes, download the optimized CSV.

CSV jobs consume batch tokens, the same tokens used by your batch subscription.

FAQ

Can I upload a CSV from any platform? Yes. CataSEO doesn’t care which platform the CSV originated from — it just needs the required columns. Any other columns ride along in the output.

What’s the maximum number of rows? 50,000 products per upload. For larger jobs, contact support.

Are CSV jobs billed differently from connected-store jobs? No. CSV optimizations use batch tokens at the same rate as connected-store batch optimizations.

Why are some rows skipped in the output? Rows missing the required name column are skipped. The output flags any rows that were skipped so you can fix and re-upload.
