Store policies settings
Store policies are the answers that are the same for every product you sell — shipping terms, returns, lead times, freight thresholds, and similar. Write them once from Settings → Store policies, and CataSEO can state them in your product descriptions instead of asking about them product by product.
What to write
Anything whose answer is the same no matter which product a buyer is looking at, for example:
Free shipping on orders over $99. Pallet orders ship freight and we quote separately. Returns accepted within 30 days, unopened.
Store policies is a free-text field — write it the way you’d naturally describe it. What you write here can be stated in your product descriptions, so keep it accurate and up to date.

FAQ
Is this the same as Brand guidelines on my SEO profile? No. Brand guidelines control how CataSEO writes — tone, wording to use or avoid. Store policies are facts about your store — shipping, returns, and similar — that CataSEO can state directly in a description.
Will my store policies show up in every product description? Only where relevant. CataSEO draws on store policies when a product’s description would otherwise need to address shipping, returns, or a similar detail.
Does changing my store policies re-optimize existing products? No. It applies to new optimizations only. Re-optimize a product if you want its description to reflect updated policies.
Is the Store policies text itself visible to my customers? No. It’s only a source CataSEO draws from when writing descriptions — the field itself isn’t shown on your storefront.
