Review and approve optimized content
Nothing CataSEO generates goes to your live storefront until you approve it. The approval queue is where you compare original and optimized copy, edit anything you want to tweak, and approve.
The Awaiting Review queue
Open your CataSEO dashboard and select the Awaiting Review tab. You’ll see every product that’s been optimized but not yet approved.
Side-by-side comparison
Click any product in the queue to open the approval view. You’ll see the original copy on one side and the optimized copy on the other, field by field. Character counts are shown so you can see where the optimized copy fits within platform limits.
Edit before approving
Any field on the approval view is editable. Tweak whatever you want — change a phrase, shorten a description, swap a keyword. Your edits become the version that gets published.
Approve one at a time
Click Approve on a single product to publish that product’s optimized copy. CataSEO writes the changes to your storefront immediately.
Approve in bulk
On the Awaiting Review tab, click Accept All to approve every product currently in the queue. CataSEO writes each one back to your storefront in sequence. The whole bulk action is grouped together so you can undo it if needed (see Undo or revert changes).
When changes go live
For Shopify, BigCommerce, Wix, and WooCommerce, approved changes appear on your storefront as soon as the platform’s API confirms the write — usually within a few seconds.
For Amazon, CataSEO writes the change immediately, but Amazon controls when listings refresh for shoppers. Most updates appear within a few hours.
FAQ
Can I approve some fields but not others on the same product? You can edit any field to whatever you want before approving — including reverting a single field back to its original. The “approve” action then publishes the version you see.
What if I want to keep my original copy? Just don’t approve. Optimized copy in the Awaiting Review queue stays there until you act on it. Your storefront copy is untouched.
Will customers see changes immediately after I approve? For most platforms, yes — within seconds. Amazon updates can take a few hours to appear due to Amazon’s own listing refresh schedule.
What if I approve something and want to take it back? Use Undo Accept All to reverse the most recent bulk approval, or use the revert action on an individual product. See Undo or revert changes.
